What's in Store for the New Year

Finally time to bring 2008 to a close. When I look back at the year in retrospect, I can't believe SO much has happened!! There has definitely been happy and sad moments, but most of all, there has been CHANGE!! Definitely good change too!!

As the year went by, so did so many things...but one thing is for sure...2008 was a great year for me. I got to see so much of the world (more than I thought I would) and I developed some really awesome friendships in the process. My life is definitely much more enriched because of these new found and some not so new found friendships. Anyone can do a happy dance for that reason alone you know??

What it comes down to for me is seeing that life has a funny way of showing you what you need to see. If you choose to learn and grow, hey, you're the better for it. I love that I learned a lot this year and all in all, I'm a very happy brat girl. Now ten years ago, things were different but that was ten years ago. Right?

So onward to a new year where things will be better than last year!! Keep looking up and forging forward everyone...if things aren't going exactly as you planned, make a change, fix it....just do whatever you NEED to do to make life what you want it to be. Trust me, life is too short to feel sad and sorry and besides, no one comes to pity parties (unless their your bestest friend and the only reason they go is because they plan to kick you in the ass!! At least that's the kind of friend "I" am).

Make 2009 your year to shine!! I know I plan to!!

Happy New Year to all my friends who made this year one I will never forget. You all know who you are too...Thank you for gifting me with your friendship that I will cherish all the rest of my days here.

Special thanks to SM and ME for being awesome supporters of me. For without you, I might not have ever found the secret path to life's treasures. Thank you both for showing me the way.

Thanks to my bestest brat friend in the world J! We started the year together and we'll end the year together and start all over again. My life is that much better just because you're a part of it!! Together I have no doubt that we, my friend, will go wherever we want. Thank you for taking this journey with me. I'm looking forward to long walks, wonderful insightful talks and LOTS of fun in the new year. Most of all...this is your year to find what you're looking for. I can FEEL it!! (You know me and my feelings too!!)

Last but definitely not least...thanks to Toppy Guy C who came into my world when I least expected it. I have always heard when you least expect it, things happen. I'm glad you stalked me and were persistent enough to see past my hardened exterior. You make my world shine bright with happiness. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for showing me what your paddle, belt, strap, cane, tawse can do. No really, my butt thanks you... (grins)

SSNY Party Report

Before I even left CA I was beyond excited!! This was going to be a crazy fun party and what better place than NYC?!?!

My plane was due to depart from LA on Thursday night and arrive in DC on Friday morning where Toppy Guy C was to be waiting....but no one told me he was going to be waiting with a clothes brush!!! EEK!! This Toppy Guy didn't wait any time once we got to the car to give me some hard swats with the clothes brush...(I knew I should have never gave him that thing!!) Before I knew it, I was pushed into the trunk of the car and he quickly applied about 6 hard swats!! OUCH!! It didn't even matter if anyone was around this time...(figures!!)

Then Toppy Guy C walks me to the passenger side car door and just as I'm about to get in the car, he makes me put my hands on the seat and applies yet another set of spanks with the clothes brush!! What is this world coming to anyway?? Can't a girl have a nice greeting at the airport anymore?? Ah well...something tells me that I may have just deserved that and more and this was the beginning of the weekend.

As quick as we could, we made our way to NJ to get some last minute things before heading to our hotel for the weekend in Manhattan NYC. But before we leave, we try and take a quick nap so we can be refreshed for the SSNY party that evening. So much for that idea!! LOL!! Apparently Toppy Guy C thought it would be a good time to have a little 'talk' about some 'things' that I should be accountable for. It made me wonder....how is it that they never remember the 'good' things you do?? *sigh* So maybe I said a few bad words while I was away....and 'maybe' I had a problem with my tone while speaking over the phone...and maybe I had a problem listening...HEY! I never said I was perfect...or did I?

Sometimes, I don't remember things that I've done...and to be honest, it's a miracle that Toppy Guy C does because he's the 'forgetful one' after all. To remind me of these wonderful misdeeds, I get strapped, paddled, the hairbrush AND the clothes brush!! On top of that, I get my mouth washed out with soap!! YUCK!! Not only that, he has a bright idea to make me hold the soap in my mouth WHILE I stand in the corner WHILE he applies the strap and cane to my bottom!! EEK!! Talk about concentration!! I almost spit that soap out so many times, but somehow the brat Gods were with me...as I was able to hold it...and taste it...YUCK!! I guess the question is...did I learn anything from this horrid lesson?? Keep reading....

After a quick shower and some last minute packing, we headed to NYC to check into our hotel for the weekend. For a brat like me to be in a big city like that, all I can say is WOW!! Toppy Guy C made sure I bundled up as it was forecast to be quite chilly in the city, but I was ready with my winter coat, gloves, scarf and hats...MANY hats!! YAY!! Quickly we hustled into the hotel to check in and change and head to the SSNY party. I planned to wear a cute little black pleated skirt with a black sweater and red tank top underneath. But since it was cold, I wore pants to the party and changed into my skirt once we got there. Since the place was like 7 or 8 blocks away, I asked if we could walk there. Some of the best times of the weekend were spent walking all around the city. Being that the sun had set, Toppy Guy C made sure to hold my hand the whole way...(I think it was partly because he didn't want me to talk to stranger...hey, I'm a stranger...*rolls eyes*) After our nice little stroll down 7th Street...we finally arrived at the LGBT Center!! YAY!! Inside we said hello to everyone there who had volunteered to help set up for the party. Just the energy in the room alone was enough to convince me that the party was going to be AWESOME!! Soon enough a mean ol' top P took me behind one of sectioned off play areas and spanked me for some unknown reason!! OK it may have had something to do with something I said, but I'm not at liberty to repeat it here... So with that spanking, the party was in full swing...as the night went on, more and more people kept coming in!! Before we knew it, there was 80+ people enjoying the spanking fun!! At some point, all the play stations were all full!! YAY!! Officially I'd like to thank those that I had the opportunity to play with...(P, R, B, M, B, H, M and Toppy Guy C...again!! SHEESH!)

But the time the party was over, we all knew that it was a great success because no one wanted to go home!! So we all stayed and helped clean up the place and all I could think about was how 'sore' I was!! A sure sign of a GREAT party for sure!! After the place was cleaned up, a few of the party goers wanted to continue partying into the night but Toppy Guy C thought we'd better get back to the room and get some rest. Gotta love a guy who knows how to take care of his girl right?? As soon as we were back, I was OUT for the night!! I didn't even get a bedtime spanking...LOL!!

The next morning, Toppy Guy C awoke me with my good morning spanking!! As if I wasn't still sore from the night before!! Somehow he knew that I would have a hard time moving so he gave me a little incentive to get up and get ready. Our plan for the day was to get some food with the gang and then head to Chinatown for some shopping. After a nice, long hard OTK spanking, I was escorted to the shower. Soon we were ready to head out and meet our spanko friends for some grub....some NYC Pizza!! A quick short subway ride and we were right where we wanted to be...and guess what? We weren't even late!! (Not that Toppy Guy C would allow 'me' to be late...*rolls eyes*)

Once we had all enjoyed the food, we made our way to the nearest subway to head to Chinatown to meet some of our other spanko friends. Chinatown ROCKED!! So many things to see and buy...it's a shopper heaven!! Even better, it was heaven for a brat who loves to stop!! The only down side was that it was impossible to shop in peace because there were so many other people out there who wanted to get their shop on too. But I did get a nice surprise from Toppy Guy C who bought me a nice purse. Who knew that Chinatown was so big?? There were streets and streets to explore in Chinatown but we all decided to head to Little Italy to eat pastries...but I wasn't in the mood for more food.

Toppy Guy C and I decided to go it alone and explore more of Chinatown on our own. But plans were set to meet the gang at Paddles NYC that evening. As Toppy Guy C and I walked around Chinatown, we explored the many little stores and bakeries...it was awesome. Finally with all that walking we decided to get something to eat. Toppy Guy C had his heart on this place where he could get dumplings for cheap and so being the forgetful one that he is, couldn't remember where it was! Alas, I spotted a quaint little place that seemed to be hopping. I suggested we take a look and see what they had to offer...and sure enough, they had a 'great' deal on their dumplings. So after Toppy Guy C made his way to the front of the line, he came back with dumplings, a bowl of hot and sour soup and a sesame seed pancake. It was AMAZING!!

Soon we decided to head back to our hotel to relax before the evening's festivities. As it turned out, Paddles was just a block away from our hotel. How is that for luck? But of course going back to our hotel room meant another thing especially for me...ANOTHER spanking!! YIKES!! As if I wasn't sore enough already!! Didn't matter Toppy Guy C wanted to make sure I was on my best behavior and what better way to maintain that then to give me maintenance spankings all the time!! Something tells me I should teach him how to knit or something!!

As we got dressed, I had a little surprise for Toppy Guy C...I had brought my corset!! YAY!! He confessed he had never seen a girl in a corset before so I 'knew' this was going to be fun!! After I was dressed with my black jeans, boots and black top, I asked Toppy Guy C to help me lace and tie my corset. All I remember was the look on his face...he liked my new fetish look!! YAY!! And with that we were off to the OTK night at Paddles NYC.

Once we arrived, I noticed the place was jumping! Many of the party goers from the previous night were in attendance and that made it a fun night. Quickly I enlisted R to give me a full blown tour of the place. I wanted to see the whole place and since he tries to get there often he had no trouble showing me around. I don't know why I expected the place to be small but it was a nice size place. A nice loft for OTK play with a few places for bondage play. A rather small stage with two suspension bars and chair for OTK spanking. Lots of St. Andrew crosses and spanking benches all around. A bird cage for the naughty brats to be locked up...so many nice hidden places to play. Paddles also had a bar area where they served drinks and snacks as well as a vending table with many play implements for sale.

Quickly Toppy Guy C had to take me off to some hidden corner of the place for a much needed OTK spanking!! He never gets tired of spanking me for the little quirky things I do!! LOL!! I was also able to play with R again as well as D. Talk about hard and heavy strapping scenes!! YAY!! I needed to be warm for later because we were all going out to see the big Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and it was getting colder by the minute. But to my surprise, as we walked out to head over to see the tree...low and behold...it was SNOWING!! YAY!! I was so excited to see the snow falling!! All bundled up, we made our way to the big tree....and it was HUGE and beautiful!! What a sight to see!! Standing and staring the whole lot of us started singing Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer!! LOL!! Of course other on lookers decided to join in as well!! As the night quickly turned to early morning, parts of the gang decided to head back to their rooms for the night, but Toppy Guy C decided to take me and my friend J, N, K to Carnegie Deli for a quick small bite to eat. EEK!! To my surprise, there was nothing small about it!! These sandwiches were HUGE!! I don't know how anyone can finish a sandwich there!! It's a good thing we all shared it...

Finally the night came to a close and we headed back to our room to rest for the night...Toppy Guy C again gave me a bedtime spanking and we were off to dream land.

Some of our spanko clan was leaving that Sunday morning so we all decided to get together for a send off breakfast. Naturally, I was having a hard time getting up but Toppy Guy C made sure to alarm me awake..(I think he enjoys this WAY too much!!) But this was more along the lines of a punishment spanking (who has ever been punished while The Simpson's Movie is playing the background?? Geez!!) A spell in the corner to boot!! Toppy Guy C made sure to remind that this punishment would continue later that evening when we got back to NJ. EEK!! Maybe he's not forgetful after all...hmmm

Soon, once we were ready (and my bottom was sore and red...again!) we headed to a nice little French restaurant to meet up with the others. When I think about the friendships I've forged with people in the spanking scene, makes me happy pretty fortunate to have them and call them friends.

Later that afternoon Toppy Guy C decided to take me around the city and let me see more of it. There was a cute little Christmas boutique of shops in the Union Square Park that we checked out. Then he took me to grab a bite to eat for lunch at a place called "Momofuku" which was an AWESOME noodle bar. There are just too many food places to try in NYC, but I'm glad my tour guide Toppy Guy C knew just where to take me. More walking around and then a phone call from J & K inviting us to meet up for dinner at her favorite Chinese food place...we headed to meet up with them.

Charlie Mom's was AWESOME!! Fried Rice, Sesame Beef, Sautéed Asparagus just to name a few...We had SO much great tasting food. However, I knew that after dinner was done, we would be heading back to NJ. In the back of my mind, I was thinking of my upcoming punishment spanking, but I still had time... We said our goodbyes to S, H, K and J and then headed to the subway to get our bags and the car and drive to NJ.

As we drove away from the city, I felt a little sadness because my time there was awesome!! I can't wait to come back!! As I sat in the car, I silently reflected on what an outstanding inaugural party SSNY threw and was happy for all it's success. This was only the beginning of a wonderful new spanking group that will ROCK NYC!!

Excited Much??

Just one day to go then I'm headed to the Big Apple!! YAY! For those of you who plan to be at the inagural SSNY party in NYC...can't wait to see you!! For those who are missing it this time around...you HAVE to make plans to get to this party next time!!
